Surmai Tawa Fry
Ingredients:
- 2 Frozen Surmai Steaks
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
Instructions:
- Thaw the Frozen Surmai Steaks completely and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt to form a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the Surmai Steaks, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a non-stick tawa or frying pan over medium heat.
- Place the marinated Surmai Steaks on the hot tawa and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the Surmai Steaks from the tawa and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
- Serve the Surmai Tawa Fry hot with steamed rice, lemon wedges, and mint chutney for a delicious and flavorful meal.
