In the village of Kilmacthomas, the same family has been milling Irish Oatmeal for over six generations. Cooked into a thick and creamy breakfast cereal, these traditional Irish oats have a distinctive texture and flavor that tastes great with milk and sugar, or with a little fruit mixed in. Whether you call it porridge, stirabout or oatmeal, is a deliciously heart-healthy way to start your St. Patty’s Day – and every day
Cooking Instructions for the Stove – Makes 2 servings of perfect Oatmeal. Stir 2/3 cup of Quick to Cook Steel Cut Oatmeal into 2 cups of cold cold water or milk.
