Crispy Basa Chunks with Tangy Tartar Sauce
Ingredients:
- 500g Frozen Basa Chunks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- For the Tartar Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each Frozen Basa Chunk into the flour mixture, ensuring they are coated evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the coated Basa Chunks in batches until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the fried Basa Chunks from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- In a separate bowl, combine all the ingredients for the tartar sauce and mix well.
- Serve the crispy Basa Chunks hot with a side of tangy tartar sauce and lemon wedges.
