For this product, selected sun-ripened tomatoes without yellow or green components of a special frame variety are peeled immediately after harvesting and filled with creamy tomato sauce. Such tomatoes can be cooked for a long time at high temperature, for example, in the oven. They are also perfect as an ingredient for some typical Italian sauces, such as Amatriciana or Bolognese, where the tomato must be clearly identified.
