Our Premium Himalayan Cheese is a traditional sun-dried hard cheese from the pristine landscapes of Ladakh. Known locally as Chhurpe, this unique cheese has been a staple in the Himalayan diet for centuries, providing essential nutrients and a distinct, savory flavour.

A Taste of Himalayan Heritage:

Chhurpe is a hard, aged Himalayan cheese made from the milk of dzomo (female hybrid between yak and cow) and native Ladakhi cows grazed in high Himalayan pasturelands. This traditional drying process of sun-drying in the crisp mountain air of Ladakh creates a remarkably hard, long-lasting cheese with a concentrated flavour profile.
