Cooking Instructions
ROSELLE FLOWER TEAIngredients:
Roselle Flower – 2 pieces
Water – 1 glass
Jaggery Sugar/Honey to taste
InstructionsRinse the dried Roselle flowers and put them aside. In a teapot, put the water to boil.
Once the water reaches its boiling point, add the Roselle flowers and leave them to brew for 5-10 minutes.
Add Jaggery Sugar or Honey to taste.
Serve hot.
ROSELLE FLOWER DRINK
Ingredients:Dried Roselle Flowers – 3
Fresh ginger roots, sliced- 2
Cinnamon Sticks – 2
Mint leaves (Pudina) – 5-6
Water – 8 cups
Jaggery Sugar Or Honey to taste
InstructionsIn a medium-size pot, bring all the ingredients except the sweetener to a boil, until it’s fragrant.
Remove from heat and allow to brew for an hour.
Sieve out the mixture into a fresh pot. Add the Jaggery sugar/Honey to taste and chill completely.
Serve the drink with some frozen fruits for a cool summer drink!-

Storage/Disposal
Once packet is opened, store in glass jar or air tight plastic jar. Consume quickly or Refrigerate. Residue-free produce catches weevils easily. Composting produce is the best option if spoiled.
