Watermelon | Aarohi Yellow Watermelon (Therubeedi Village, Karnataka) - Organically Grown

Farmer name : Sudhakaran and Amrita Nambiar - urban farmers and IT professional working in Bengaluru. This farm is a part of the retirement plan for them and their family. They bought the land around 12 years ago in the year 2013 and have been working relentlessly to turn it into organic farm. They started out with 2 cows at the farm which has now grown into a family of 5 cows, 2 bulls and 4 young ones. The primary objective is to help their farm with raw material for jeevamrutam, organic pesticides and buttermilk for the farm. They presently produce organic veggies at the farm - for self-consumption and for friends. This is their 3rd year growing melons. They have also set up an orchard with Guava, Mango and native banana trees. 
The couple intends to build a home stay in the future and settle down themselves at this beautiful farm.
